I took the "me" in "how's this supposed to make me feel" (rather than "them feel") as indicative, but you may well be right (in which case it seems even less classy, with no actual hurt feelings of their own). Certainly there's a lesson there for me to ponder. While there was a point to my comment, I see it didn't go over as I'd have hoped.
I can be abrasive at times, and at other times I can come over poorly even while trying to be helpful. I'd rather avoid both those things.
That the tweet got hundreds of likes I find unsurprising but I don't get how 19 people saw fit to retweet that.
@whuber yes, on looking at it more closely it looks like you're right, it's not even his post.
There's some people in there trying to point out that he's not really being fair, but on twitter (and on social media more generally) it's easy to pile on without context.
Well, I've worried about that enough for today. Other things to do.
