@Tinkeringbell I once got yelled at for flagging a whole bunch of useless comments on a single answer, and was told to just flag the answer and the mod would clean up the comments
"yelled at" here means that @NapoleonWilson asked me to be nice to the flag queue
@DForck42 Yeah, I think Catija mentioned that a few times as well... I'll start doing that now that I've got my badge ;) But if it's my post, I'm flagging them as they come up. I can't help the mods are asleep when I'm awake! :P
@DForck42 It's nice to sniff around here... I like noting little differences between a beta and graduated site ;)
btw: In addition to bringing the comment to the attention of the moderators, a sufficient number of flags on a single comment will cause it to be deleted automatically.
@NogShine Yeah, to bump post of the front page.... but for comments: The number of flags required for deletion varies based on the number of votes on the comment, as well as the content of the comment itself.
@NapoleonWilson but, I'm also of the opinion that comments should be few and far between, so a difference in opinion is to be expected. I also just like to give you a hard time ;-)
@DForck42 That's not the same as being reluctant to delete comments. That juts means a preference for organazing such activities a little better. Which speaks for a preference to handle those flags.
@AnkitSharma Wut? Is he going to be busy? Is he going to be a big slacker like Napoleon and go on about how awesome hats are and then not participate? ;)
Rick and Morty is pretty much Doctor Who except with a fixed (infinitely dispensable) companion and weird cartoon enemies (just my opinion).
However in Rick and Morty the main theme is dimension travelling and the fact that there is an 'infinite' amount of universes and dimensions and Rick isn'...
@AnkitSharma Hehehe! Well, it's annoying on both sides of it. It's annoying if an incorrect answer gets accepted like 5 seconds after it's posted and it's annoying if someone thinks that their answer is the best and complains to OP about it. Dramafest! ;)
@DForck42 Oh, totally! I usually wait a one to two weeks if it's the answer I was looking for. If it's a super awesome answer, I will put a bounty on it.
While testing the YouTube video edit preview feature for the next version of my Stack Overflow Unofficial Patch (SOUP) user script / browser extension, I stumbled across an interesting input validation bug. Specifically, when using the long-form URL syntax:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO...
@NapoleonWilson What's not to get? Even I understand what it's about, and I'm as far from a computery person as one can be here (certainly further than you with your 40k rep on SO).
