Q: When Santa opened the door, some of the puddle must have evaporated already, so how was Santa able to reconstruct Frosty from the puddle?

I assume the reconstructed snowman after Santa put the hat on it was smaller than the original one the children built earlier?

See for Simon it was kind of easy which was complain for movie that it's not all happy go lucky, so Victor is more of messier situation then him, I liked it

It feels weird now

Mr. Bassford is a well-meaning chap that sometimes shouldn't opine before investigating further.

But in all honesty, that's the impression you get from the ID post on meta really. If there was this huge train of comments with ones in favor of banning it highly upvoted, that would've changed the impression.

It seems to me now, regardless of my inability to see deleted comments, if there are any, that ID supporters didn't even care enough to make a case for it despite ample opportunity in that time window. Alas, c'est la vie.

My personal impression, though, not having been an avid reader of the site for most of the time IDs were around, but an avid reader now, is that if ID was allowed today, it would almost certainly have suffocated the site.

And don't forget the impression ID leaves on new users. "Well that site is useless. Clueless people farm tons of rep for being clueless about this obvious movie title I'm old friends with"

Right now, M&TV questions that make it to HNQ do ask something, even if it's obvious.

Sometimes it also has a brilliant answer by Tetsujin and you learn from an inside perspective.
