I guess they work both. "in the end" has a bit of different feel to it than "at the end", the latter of which is more of a mere locality while the former seems like an abstract conclusion.

I rewatched it not too long ago. Should have paid some more attention to the music. But yes, it's indeed quite upbeat. I had never seen that as much of a contrast so far.

It's evoking feelings that are actually quite synonymous to the crack of dawn that starts the film, and is very much the temporal setting for when Lou goes about his business.

@NapoleonWilson Inorite, the only weirder music to play at some scenes would have been Lion King's

I didn't find it particularly unfitting, though. It fit to the scenery and also had quite a melancholic city feel to it. I maybe wouldn't describe it universally upbeat.

Disappointing movie of the night: Posham Pa, amazing acting and a engaging arc with forced twisted ending which change whole film and end absurdly wrong way. What I take from this film, psychopath can make fool out of you if you give a chance .
