Q: who is in the background poster: English class scene, Nightmare on Elm Street (1984)?

professor_featherViewing the blu-ray, I see "Lincoln Center" at the bottom of the promotional poster, but what's printed at top is not visible. What performer (and/or character) is pictured? I've made a few searches (including this site), and read the IMDb trivia, with no answer. A side question: was the po...

Q: June's behavior with the Waterfords

tangentbundleSpoilers for the first 2 seasons of The Handmaid's Tale. There are several instances in the show when I cannot explain June's behavior. But the one that seems most inexplicable is the one at the very end of season 2. Considering all the things Serena did to her, especially the aiding of June's r...

Q: Why the lead characters use different names?

J MOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood is the upcoming film of Quentin Tarantino. It weaves "multiple storylines in a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood's golden age." In the movie, Leonardo DiCaprio's character name is Rick Dalton and is based on actor Burt Reynolds, similarly, Brad Pitt's chara...

@Memor-X why you assumed Shazam is stand alone?
Rest your answer is good and add nice information

@AnkitSharma a safe bet assumption in absence of any preceding info. like i don't know how tied in Shazam is to the DC Universe(s) in the comics and more so for the movies/TV series's
after all not all Superheroes get tied into a bigger universe especially when they start. most of the Batman stuff didn't show anything to any previous or future Superman films (hell, i feel as if Batman V Superman created a new Batman) and Static Shock was mostly stand alone until that Justice League cross over with Brainiac
like just going from the trailer, i don't see anything that connects it to Justice League and Batman V Superman didn't hint on Shazam like it did the others (which you would expect that a Cyborg and Flash origin films would come first)

@Memor-X Shazam is always canon to DC in comics as that name came due to figth with Marvel nly, else it was called Captain Marvel. And alls ource I know claim it's canon to DCEU
@Memor-X shazam trailer mention existance of superman and batman

@AnkitSharma huh, must have missed that, but then again how many Superman's and Batman's are there? only Christian Bale's gets excluded because he fakes his death

10:53 AM
@Memor-X I gave a source above

@AnkitSharma yeh i was still typing when you posted lol

lol fair enough
You can still update your answer or mayeb @Catija also can
I like both answer
The movie is completely trackable on its own merit. That said, there a lot of fun little nods/homages/Easter eggs that can be enjoyed should one be caught up in the DCEU. 🤙 https://twitter.com/KyrieAndrews/status/1074068442720940032

@AnkitSharma so sorta like Deadpool

@Memor-X not exactly but sorta like Wonder Woman.
X-Men universe have many timelines and messed up, so deadpool follow none
DCEU have only one timeline, few filsm are more connected like Justice league and BvS and then few connected but wor standalone also like WOnder Woman and Aquman
On an Easter egg level, yes. Also a character from Lights Out is in Shazam so you could argue they take place in the same universe. https://twitter.com/somshisawsome1/status/1005421132378353666
I am sure you might fidn more proofs for Shazam to be canon to DCEU on internet @Memor-X @Catija

Q: Why is geo-restriction used in USA?

user2824371I'd like to know why some websites use geo-restrictions like Fox and CBS. I read some reasons on the internet about geo-restrictions in general but I would like to learn the USA law. Why is it very strict when it comes to regions or countries? Is it related to financial reasons? or Is it just reg...
