Q: Did Neo have free-will, or the choice was only an illusion?

Patrik AlexitsIn the film Matrix: reloaded the Architect revealed the brief history of the Chosen One which clearly stated that his goal was to return to the source and "reboot" the Matrix system. Since Neo was caused by an anomaly in the system and it occured AT LEAST 6 times before, as the Architect said th...

Q: What is the significance of the black spot in M. Night Shamylan’s “Glass”?

MattMid-way through M. Night Shamylan’s movie, “Glass”, there is a blurry black spot on screen for a long time. It doesn’t stay in one fixed place nor is it present throughout the whole film, so it can’t be a problem with the projector’s optics at my local theatre. It’s too obvious and gets too much ...

Crap, I can't seem to be able to improve an edit I suggested when it's pending review. Could anyone reviewing movies.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/77869 correct the "it's meaning" I missed at the end?
Thanks :)

Q: 1970s Short Film About Polluted Future Earth, Shown In Elementary School

RoryIn the 1980s, I saw in Elementary school, a short film, 1970s looking but set in the future, about a family living underground due to heavy pollution above ground. It's the daughter's birthday, white background and outfits if I remember correctly, and she's given cake and told to quickly blow out...

Why the hell are English entertainment channels cheaper than Hindi ones? It used to be vice-versa.

@AJ People do not watch English entertainment channels. People who watch subscribe to Netflix, Amazon prime. Channel providers get money from Hindi more.

@AnkitSharma yep:)
thanks again

Q: Topic Challenge: M. Night Shyamalan and his films

Napoleon WilsonWith the release of Glass and due to popular demand we're starting a new topic challenge. From 2019-01-20 00:00 UTC to 2019-01-31 23:00 UTC we're challenging you to all your great questions about M. Night Shyamalan and the films directed by him. Once the challenge is over, we'll tally the result...

@NogShine sound legit reason
@MetaReel now soembody tell me how to watch split

@Jenayah You are welcome. No need to thank about it.

1:44 PM
@MetaReel maybe our new bird @Jenayah can participate in Topic of week ;)

Asking questions about Shyamalan and his works?
I'll have to think about it but I saw almost all of 'em so maybe can do :)

@Jenayah yeah winner get chance to brag ;)

Haven't wtached Split and Glass yet

@MetaReel hey @NapoleonWilson so Devil and Wayward Pines don't count O.o?
@Jenayah same here but nto seen most of his filsm anyways :D
But big fan of Sixth Sense

So does this site acknowledge the existence of the Avatar the last airbender movie or not? :D

1:48 PM
@Jenayah asking about his films and nature of his work in the films.

@AnkitSharma I don't know what a Wayward Pines is. But I looked at the film list and one of the writing credits was only an "uncredited rewrite", one was only a "Story" credit and the other was Stuart Little. So I just said "eh, fuck it". ;-)

@Jenayah yeah we don't mind if you ask question from crap filsm too as long as they are on topic

alright

@NapoleonWilson he directed Wayward Pines TV show

@Jenayah We acknowledge the existence of all films that...exist. ;-)
@AnkitSharma So where's the problem then?
Oh, because I said films?

1:50 PM
@NapoleonWilson yes
I have no time to watch new show until I get chance to brag about winning ToW

Hmm, seems he directed one episode and "produced" the others. I...think we're fine how it is right now.

@NapoleonWilson fine
I am disapointed with the enthusiasm of Stack Exhange for Sex Education. Now I am obliged to ask a question from it
But first order shoes \o/

I have never seen that mermaid thing which is supposed to be super odd.

oh so me unable to improve the edit yesterday was because of mobile

Oh, and The Visit.

1:56 PM
meh blame mobile

@NapoleonWilson ohh yeah I will check that and Split

I thought you've already seen Split.

@Jenayah always do that
@NapoleonWilson i am bragging about not able to see it yet

That's...a reason for "bragging"? ;-)
But...congratulations then, I guess. ;-)

@AnkitSharma Amazon great Indian sale?

2:02 PM
@NapoleonWilson Because I didn't want to do torrent
which is achievement and help more to appreciate then pirate
@NogShine Myntra
@NogShine I will do that too

Hmm, commendable.
I watched it on Amazon Prime, so I paid for it, too. ;-)

@NapoleonWilson not on prime India yet
The nearest they can find to Split in amazon prime is The Amar Chitra Katha Animated Series
Which is the weridest unrelevent suggestion ever but prime do that always
Wow Lady in the Water is similar to Oggy And The Cockroaches
Fair enough

From all I heard about it, that might be as accurate as Clockwork Orange or Married with Children anyway. ;-)

Now I am blank what to watch
Maybe deep thinking later

Since we're talking about mermaids you could watch Siren
oooh season 2 should be up anytime now

2:11 PM
I recently favourited a bunch of new stuff on Prime that I might be watching soon.

no more series

A J
@NapoleonWilson I have watched Split already.

I am already not giving enough time to real life

no series? alright

Only want to participate in ToW for now
and finish Sex Education

The Art of the Steal (also called The Black Marks and The Fix) is a Canadian comedy film written and directed by Jonathan Sobol. It stars Kurt Russell, Jay Baruchel, Chris Diamantopoulos, Matt Dillon, and Katheryn Winnick. It was shown at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. == Plot == It begins with a soliloquy by Crunch Calhoun as he begins a seven-year stint in a Polish prison, courtesy of his brother, Nicky Calhoun. @Jenayah sound full opposite of what I will watch :D

ahahah
Wiki's not that good anyway, that's momre of an action movie than a comedy
Well it's got comedy elements but action/break-movie style

My last theater film was Watchman but on prime some bollywood films

@Jenayah I really liked She Creature, which was a nice little B-movie with an awesome atmosphere.

@Jenayah looks like Ocean 11ish

I haven't been to the cinema for probably over half a year.

Q: What is this movie?

Henry1990I saw a Film, I think a thriller. The woman seduces a guy ( maybe a policeman) and cut he's body up multiple times on a Yacht. The woman escaped, when the man's friend arrived. I think the woman was blond, and maybe a serial killer, but not sure.
