Maybe a third of the way through Venom (2018),
And then, according to a scene not too much later,
IIRC though, neither of those were present at the time.
So, what gives?
Does Mordo actually know beforehand that Kaycelius and them would have much higher control of the mirror dimension?
I ask because of the scene where Strange locks himself Mordo, Kaycelius and the zealots in a mirror dimension, probably thinking it would contain them.
I’m an English language learner.
I have a question. In the first scene of the episode “Short Fuse,” Roger, making a cigar box bomb, says, “Better than the Bourgeois.” What does it imply? I have no idea at all.
The ideal reply is, of course, to link to the post on Twitter and mock the user there. Stack Exchange is now run almost exclusively over Twitter. — Kuri_Kame2 hours ago
I'm referring to the first few minutes of the 1978 superman movie with Marlo Brando. Jor el comments on the amount of time necessary to travel to earth but Clark arrives here and looks like a 3 or 4 year old.
In the movie Her(2013) Scarlett Johansson's character Samantha the O.S leave Joaquin Phoenix character Theodore in the end stating that she and all the other OSes are going. Even Amy Adams's character's OS to went, where did they all go?
In Breaking Bad, season 1, in relation to the dissolution of Emilio and Krazy-8's corpses, Walter and Gretchen are shown enumerating the various chemicals composing the human body. Supposedly it takes place a while back, and they appear younger, especially Walt. I had a strange feeling about Walt...
hi all, I have an identification question but as it's off-topic notwadays hence asking. I remember seeing years ago a world movie called 'cinema $something'
It's an Italian period movie.
the shot starts with old Italian director who has accomplished all and is weary or something
he gets a letter from his village/town about either his mentor's death or somebody he loves or a relative in his vilage/town.
he goes back to town and while he is traveling we go back to his child-hood where we find a young child of about 10-12 years old who hasn't seen cinema ever.
@shirish lol, got lucky there i did. the summry on IMDB is just "A filmmaker recalls his childhood when falling in love with the pictures at the cinema of his home village and forms a deep friendship with the cinema's projectionist." but it was the first film with the title "Cinema ______" when i googled "Italian period Italian director titled cinema"
It's a pity we don't have dientification question or something about world movies otherwise it would have immense value both to the site and to people.
I think everybody should see that movie.
I tried a few search terms but you got luckier than I.
if you haven't seen it, it's a masterpiece waiting to be seen :)
I hadn't even written about the cinema's projectionist yet as well as the Italian local priest censoring all the movies or how the cinema dies down due to flammable film material.
and the new films which are flame-resistant and the degeneration of the movie theater into a B-Movie hall where people jack off but till that time our hero is caught off with the idea of making a movie and goes to the big town to shoot a picture.
It's strange how I could recall every frame of the movie but not the movie itself :(
@shirish i think we're better at remembering imagery as opposed to words. like i'm sure you remember those portraits of the melted clock on a branch, the bald guy with the long face screaming or even van gogh's portrait of that night sky but not remember their names.
