@AnkitSharma I have no idea who Simon is.

user116211
@DrRDizzle A brit.

@AnkitSharma You misspelled Garfunkel.

user116211
A commission headed by him was created to discuss issues regarding the dominion status of the then India.

user116211
they were appointed in 1927 and was to come in India at the early 1928.

user116211
But since, the commission comprised of no Indian members, it was highly criticised and fell before angry processions when it reached India.

@DrRDizzle representative of failed bill
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (/ˈɡɑːndi, ˈɡæn-/; Hindustani: [ˈmoːɦənd̪aːs ˈkərəmtʃənd̪ ˈɡaːnd̪ʱi]; 2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) was the preeminent leader of the Indian nationalism in British-ruled India. Employing nonviolent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. The honorific Mahatma (Sanskrit: "high-souled", "venerable")—applied to him first in 1914 in South Africa,—is now used worldwide. He is also called Bapu (Gujarati: endearment for "father", "papa") in India. In common parlance in India he is often called...

@AnkitSharma I know who that is. ;-)

user116211
@NapoleonWilson He is the boss of India.

Just want to clear ;p
@MAFIA36790 on the sidenote i dislike him and his ideologies

user116211
@AnkitSharma I won't say that; he had good intentions and really cared for the betterment of the country but his policies and decisions are highly dubious and ridiculous.

user116211
I would say he is a bit overrated when people say independence came for him.

user116211
3:21 PM
Britain was not in a state to rule over its colonies after its destruction in WW2; although the Allies won. Independence was implied by then.

user116211
However, Gandhi is really inspiring and everyone should read his autobiography:

user116211
Fun fact: There is no official document approved by the Govt. of India that says Gandhi is the Father of Nation.

Q: Last Scene- New York streets

LaurieThis is a Sci-Fi apocalyptic movie or tv movie from the 80s I believe. I saw it when I was a kid so don't remember a lot of details. The last scene was three people- two females and a male- and one female was complaining that there was no one left for her because everyone was dead. And then out o...

@NapoleonWilson Awww. I see that you made an awesome and brilliant joke, just to have nobody else getit ;)
@NapoleonWilson How are you doing?
Er, nevermind. I just checked my emails. Glad that all is well :)

@MAFIA36790 Yeah i am on agreement with that but u have other issues too with him
@MAFIA36790 I know

user116211
@AnkitSharma I'm Barry Allen and every.....

@steelershark I got it but i don't want to
@MAFIA36790 lol

Wut? I thought that Gandhi was basically worshipped in your country? Is this just another thing that we dumb Americans here totally screw up?

user116211
4:58 PM
@AnkitSharma Yep; I never liked his policies; never. Partition was partly due to him. But just saying disliking him wouldn't be good. He deserves respect but he is overrated among the common folks.

@steelershark He is way overrated, i don;t worship him. BUt yeah he is too too famous and respected here

user116211
@steelershark Fact: Gandhi's Autobiography and Hitler's Mein Kamph are one the bestselling books in India. They are always in great demand.

user116211
@AnkitSharma There is no need to worship; just remember him for his intentions and not his damn policies; that's it.

@MAFIA36790 I dislike him for what he did after the partition , before and during. Second his believes are unrealistic to follow. Third i hate his experimentation with sexual urges , veganism and other similar stuff

@AnkitSharma Ahhh...interesting. He is extremely tevered here. Like...you say "Gandhi" everyone basically thinks that he is God. I don't know.

5:03 PM
@steelershark His was idol for many and some believe we got freedom because of him but we got freedom because of WW2, Britain can't hold us anymore after WW2 not because they were scarred of Gandhi

user116211
@AnkitSharma You would be amazed to read Nathu Ram Godse's last sppech in his trial; you'd get what pain was within him. Gandhi is much responsible for the partition. He implicitly supported Jinnah's plan of Double Nation by staying neutral assuming he would get the muslim support. But that vehemently failed.

@MAFIA36790 i think i have read it few years back

user116211
@AnkitSharma You don't have to repeatedly make me remember who I'm... Barry Allen ;_;

@AnkitSharma Ahhh...gotcha :)

ROFL

user116211
5:06 PM
@AnkitSharma Yes, that's what I'm saying. That's the real truth.

@steelershark Anyway i do consider him as good man but i never liked the outcome of his steps and his ideologies are unrealistic

user116211
Oh, @ankit; we share the same opinion.... now that doesn't make me an enemy of Dizzle ;)

@AnkitSharma Oh, that's totally cool with me! You are definitely entitled to your opinion. I really don't know much about him...other than his name and that he is assigned with helping people.

u will soon

user116211

Q: Setting of Max Max from first movie to second/third

Nex TerrenI believe from the hints in the original Mad Max movie and the intro from the second Mad Max movie that the original Mad Max movie was placed after the decline-of-society-events (later established as a nuclear war over energy resources in 2 and 3). The hints in the original movie seem to be: Th...

Q: Techno-spy TV show/TV-movie from the mid-1980s, almost certainly Canadian or Can/US co-production

Maury MarkowitzIn the 1980s I lived in the boons north of Toronto, and had only three channels on TV - CBC, CTV and Global. On one of these, and I want to say CTV but I have no idea why, I watch an extended episode of what was clearly intended to be a pilot for a show. I've been trying to track it down ever si...

@steelershark Well, at least someone got it, as it was starred.
@steelershark I'm fine.

10:42 PM
@MovieReel It doesn't really matter. Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is the best one out of all of them. I don't wanna hear anything about Beyond Thunderdome...Road Warrior is the best ;)
@NapoleonWilson Awww. I'm so glad that you're alright :)

@steelershark Sure. The song is still great, though.

@NapoleonWilson Yeah, of course the song is great! I'm just in the minority thinking that Road Warrior is better than Beyond Thunderdome. At least with the circle of people who I know.
I mean, Tina Turner's awesome and of course...Master Blaster!
"Me order! Me Master! Me run Bartertown!"
:P

@steelershark Oh, I don't even think that's a minority. I thought it was a universal truth that Road Warrior is the best (well, apart from Fury Road).

10:58 PM
@NapoleonWilson Well, it's a minority with my crowd. That actually explains a lot ;)
Speaking of my "crowd"...I have to get out of here. Have a good night :)

@steelershark You too. ;-)

Q: BB Box Cutter- What happened to Victor's car?

Keith CrupiBB Box Cutter- What happened to Victor's car? He left it at the crime scene, when he jumped in Jesse's car. Doubtful that anyone drove him, as he dashed over there at top speed. Nobody has mentioned this anywhere! This, in additional to being seen (just another lookyloo) would further explain Gus...
