@Kodiologist, @gung: haha, you probably came across it because my mucking with the [kaggle] tag bumped a few threads. I see a borderline case for a very few questions that are truly specific to Kaggle competition to have that tag, but I wouldn't mind getting rid of the tag. Then again, it's so rare that it probably isn't worth raising on Meta.
Did my best to make it clear in the tag wiki excerpt, too, and removed the tag from a number of threads. Hope people will notice.
Actually, out of five threads tagged [kaggle], two are closed:
And the Titanic dataset is by no means specific to Kaggle, it was used way before Kaggle came around: duckduckgo.com/?q=titanic+dataset

Stephan KolassaSome datasets are perennial favorites. Would it make sense to have tags for questions about these? If I'm asking about a specific analysis I want to apply to a dataset, it might be helpful to see whether someone has done something similar to this specific dataset before. I am thinking of tags id...
