@Vérace I'm trying to shrink a db, but it's a publisher, do you know if there is any drawback into putting it in single recovery model? There is a 88% of unused space, about 480GB
@McNets - sorry, but you're asking the wrong guy here - this is SQL Server stuff AIUI and, of all the major servers, this would be my weakest suit! Sorry about that - maybe ask a question directly on the site? There may be a few antipodeans for whom it is now Monday who may be able to assist?
Found it: "If your database is being mirrored, or is in an Availability Group, or is log shipping, you might find that your secondary server(s) fall behind during this operation."
