I guess the question is partially about the difference between CUBE and ROLLUP, but I think the weirdest thing about it to me was the way they called the three dimensions as a "hierarchichal" dimension but then treated them as independent - if it is "hierarchical", I would think that points to ROLLUP for all the subdimensions, not CUBE.
