@Colin'tHart At the moment we are only installing versions that are packaged with a distro that does reliable security updates, like Debian and CentOS. Debian Buster has 3.27, and CentOS has 3.26, so there doesn't seem much point installing the latter. It looks like the next version of Debian will get frozen in about March 2021, so we could consider releasing after then but before the official stable release if that is helpful?

Otherwise if there is a yum or apt repo with later versions that gets security updates we could consider that too.

I have a site where they cannot get to SSRS from any machine on the network. It prompts for authentication several times and then they just get a blank screen. Went through a bunch of articles but nothing we have tried appears to make any difference.

@CadeRoux have you googled "kerberos double hop" at any point in your debugging so far?

Yes, does that factor into the main screen? None of the reports pass through credentials, they all use credentials in a data source.

If it's Kerberos issues, do we need to try that Kerberos Configuration Manager? And what are we looking for? microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=39046

And SSRS is on the DB server.

@CadeRoux double hop can still be a factor in that setup - I had it a few years ago. But was setup and debugged by my senior sadly

But it's definitely authentication related

On the server, I tried Invoke-WebRequest -Credential on the same URL that's working in IE and I get a 401.

Wait, I may need some more flags

So on the server, -Credential does not work, but -UseDefaultCredentials does work (that version of Powershell does not have -Authentication)

On the remote "workstation" (another server, I am remoted into with the same credentials) -UseDefaultCredentials does not work. So definitely something in the auth somewhere.
