And disabled by default, but I can see how it sounds like a good idea when it's just a checkbox the azure infrastructure guys can check

Goodness only knows what that specific user's issue is. The question doesn't really tell us much.

I can see how non-dba's have access to the azure portal and would think something labeled "automatically tune indexes with our uber AI performance tuning algorithm" sounds like a good idea

Nice. Had to copy&paste that to a Notepad window to be able to see the image because the lines were too long and some of them would split at symbols that are word delimiters (spaces, asterisks, hashes for some reason). However, I then discovered that I could just set the zoom level at 90% to make the lines fit the field width.

@AndriyM You're not super missing anything, but Mr Rogers was the kindest person I've ever seen from a distance. From the way he talked in Congress in the (?) 60s to his children's show.
