@PeterVandivier I've been chipping away at this for a while, off and on. Stored procs are trickier if you allow for deferred name resolution (but there's a DMV for that, too).
If you want to cheat just dump it all into a graph using the node & edge tables, and perform a topological sort. Simples!
There are C# classes which parse T-SQL. So one could, if sufficiently motivated, trace a complete code path from INSERT through triggers, SP parameters, local variables and temp tables etc. for a total data lineage or code change impact analysis.

@PaulWhite9 There is an accepted answer.

@McNets Yes, that was added after my comment. If you think your ideas might help someone with a similar problem in future, you can put them in an answer. If not, comments aren't the right place and I'll just delete them.
I have a habit of suffocating speech like that.

@PaulWhite9 ok, deleted

@PaulWhite9 At least you don't have the habit of talking incoherently to different people.

That might be worse yeah
(sorry)

Still not as bad as some other mod's habit of making threats

Well he's a rebel for sure

@MichaelGreen only thing I need it for next week is table dependencies. If you’ve got a link, you bettah share.
I’m sure it’s a solved problem, but intuitively I feel like I’d probably just write it from scratch because I hate doing things “smart” or “easy”
I’ve used a couple different solutions for non-table object dependencies in the past, all are fun, all have caveats.
I used to have the blog posts for when sysdepends (or its descendants) wouldn’t work bookmarked 😜

@PaulWhite9 I've seen empire builders using dogma as a rhetorical device to undermine rivals before, and this quacks like a duck.
@TomV-trytopanswers.xyz I grew up steeped in it. Canterbury is Rugby central - in fact, Rugby is actually the official state religion of New Zealand. The novelty wore off after the first 30 years.
The last time I played Rugby I was 8, and I was pretty useless at it. I just look like a Rugby player.
