Rugby wasn't a very popular sport in USSR. I don't actually remember having ever watched a single game on television during those years of my life (unlike, say, football). That's probably why I haven't developed much liking for the game, though I can't say I dislike it either.

It isn't in Belgium either. I don't really know why I started watching it as a kid. Belgian TV wasn't showing anything a lot of the time and I watched BBC even if I didn't understand English yet. Ive come to like rugby a'd snooker
