Mr, Mrs, etc are titles of respect. You earn respect by doing what needs to be done and being valuable. When you're the lowly peon then those above you or that don't respect you can basically refer to you however they want, within whatever guidelines are in place. When you're earned some respect then you get to dictate the terms.

On a completely separate note, I had a random driving thought today; So perpetual motion is impossible. In an extreme case, eventually the sun will explode and the the machine will stop.

But I kind of wonder if maybe people are asking the wrong question; Maybe instead of asking "how do I make a perpetual motion machine?", they should be asking "How close to a perpetual motion machine can I get?"

Obviously making machines more efficient in general is a major goal in all engineering, but I'm really curious how close to break even a clever engineer could get, where the amount of energy out is almost as much as the amount of energy in.
