@AndyD273 Naturally, they wouldn't show a tourist a semi-secret military fort. But again, my news might be old.
On the other hand, my shoulder isn't sore from my DTAP shot. Did something go wrong?
The skin is slightly sensitive to touch, but my muscle soreness only lasted a couple minutes after it developed 3 hours or so after the shot.

Bonus...I guess?

Fine by me :)
I also have a pretty active immune system, so maybe I just destroyed the viruses already :)
As in, I can sit next to someone with the flu for over an hour and not get sick.

@Hosch250 I haven't found any info about bunkers or bases under Masada, and it's a big tourist stop, with buses coming and going all day. I suppose it could be done and kept secret, but it would be hard.

6:12 PM
@AndyD273 They had a bunker under some hotel near Washington DC and nobody knew until recently :)
Especially if it was built back in the 80s or something.

True, but there are lots of tunnels under Washington DC, and there is a lot of traffic in and out of a hotel. In theory you could move material and personnel in and out without too much notice. Masada is way out in the middle of nowhere, a long way from anything, on the edge of the dead sea... Again, not saying it can't be done. Just seems like there would be some conspiracy site about it...

Q: How would a civilization adapt to handle a series of unkillable deadly people?

Nepene NepHow would a civilization adapt to a typical video game protagonist? People who always seemed to win any fight in front of them, but where there was only one of them, or a small team? Interesting.
We can now have safe gladiators!
They can fight as fiercely as they like and nobody gets hurt.
Also as long as they like.

7:37 PM
@AndyD273 Considering you thought of it there just has to be a conspiracy theory about this somewhere...I mean, there are people with a lot more spare time than you and I.
I'm totally not googling this from work though.

@James Well, I don't care that much, so I may not have done full due diligence, but I didn't think of it, I'm just going off what Hosch thought was true, and which I doubt, having been there. I mostly just did a search for "Israel base under masada" and didn't see anything that looked promising in the first page or two of the results.
Now, I do kind of remember the tour guide talking about some underground base, kinda like Cheyenne mountain, in case of attack, but I don't think it was under Masada.
But it was also a long long time ago, so I'm also very open to the idea that I'm wrong about it

Might well have been wrong.
I mean, I might have been about the base.

1 hour later…
9:07 PM
@AndyD273 Do you like Rubin?

@James He's pretty decent
(assuming you mean dave)

I just heard he did a 2 hour interview with Yang a while back. I'm giving it a listen now.

I posted that right after it happened...

how...did I miss that.
ah well

I don't know

9:09 PM
I'm listening now

Cool
I don't agree with Dave Rubin on everything, but he gets good guests and has good civil conversations with them. Usually worth a watch.

Yeah so far he seems like a good interviewer.
