@HDE226868 that war of immortals question is impressive. Only 17 hours old and already 2K views. Very impressive.

Ok so my comments about using frogs in war yesterday were in jest but it occurred to me there is a potentially interesting question in there. Something along the lines of...
In a medieval setting you have a band of rebels hiding in the (forest/swamp/mountains) where (bird/rodent/reptile species) is abundant. How could the out armored and out weaponed rebels utilize these creatures in a battle to even the odds?
@Green @ArtOfCode Thoughts?
Oh screw it I am asking it anyway, chat is too quiet today!

4:30 PM
@James I didn't think that was a jest question. I'm glad you asked it or I was going to ask it myself.

@Green lol. Just posted my question, let me know what you think

@James, I'm writing my answer now. :)

So...three of my top four answers have happened in the last 13 days...what was I doing all year?!?

@James I don't know but you seem to be making up for it.
Have you max repped yet?

twice last week (the first two times), mainly due to the ocean voyage question

4:42 PM
@James, perhaps a science-based tag will help clarify that question.

@Green good call.

This is a fun question. All my favorite aspects of asymmetric warfare can be used here.

@James, why the change to 5:1 odds?

6:36 PM
@Green When I went to put numbers to it I liked it better.

@James fair enough.
I have a new question that riffs on your "animal friends as an army" question.

7:29 PM
Good answers from people with 101 rep makes me happy. New people on WB!

@James, the forest brigade made the HNQ feed.

8:07 PM
@Green Excellent

Sweet! I got two new guys to answer my question! So awesome!

8 answers to your question, @Green... not bad at all

8:24 PM
Thanks :) It seems broad enough (but not too broad) that anyone can answer it and it talks about very approachable concepts.

Hey, according to the main stack exchange blog post thingy we're awesome people :)

@TimB which thingy?

@Green Yours made it to the 3rd place on HNQ. I realised by having 4 upvote in 14 min after posting my answer!

@bilbo_pingouin Suh-weet! It's been a good afternoon!
@bilbo_pingouin Thanks for pointing that out. I would have missed it.

8:38 PM
I never had an answer rising so fast... well, it will slow down, for sure. But still. :)

Well, we shall see how it does.

@TimB "whatever the heck these awesome people are. " very good...!

9:28 PM
@ArtOfCode May I propose this answer for the next "Best of WB" post?worldbuilding.stackexchange.com/a/25743/10364

@Green Yes, yes you may.

@ArtOfCode Excellent. Do you agree?

@Green I do. Good answer, that.

The answers to that question are all good. And I noticed a few new users too.

10:06 PM
@CortAmmon, I found this today in relation to previous conversation hbr.org/2013/08/why-do-so-many-incompetent-men

@Green Thanks.
I should have made one thing different though: Immortals will only recover from injuries that would kill them. That would make the question different and more like what I had originally imagined.
It would also be an obnoxious change that would invalidate many answers, so I think that's an edit I'll toss in the "Bad Ideas" bin.
Your herbivores question is doing very well. Kudos to you!
