@Jolenealaska I... Learned to sing Empty Chair at Empty Tables when I was taking regular singing lessons. I have yet to hear someone sing it the way I think it should be done. I... also struggle to listen to it, because it's so emotional, especially in the past year... A few of my relatives died within a short space of time and the way that it all compounded together is something that so little of music addresses (and so, so difficult to talk about).
Even the little things like how my last memory of two of them together was literally them sitting at a table in my Granny's house, which has of course been emptied
So yeah... Not fun, but Les Mis is all about death, so what do you expect?
