Regarding this question: https://cooking.stackexchange.com/questions/108714/does-a-pizza-lose-flavor-texture-from-cooling-down-and-then-heating-up-again-ver
Can anyone (a moderator maybe) let me know if this is considered too hypothetical to answer? I know hypothetical questions are not a good fit for the site, but I do find the question interesting

There's nothing wrong with that question @LSchoon, although it is a bit wordy. I like your proposed edit as it's much more to the point.

Thank you @GdD. The question seemed too much of a "what if?", which I tried to change in my edit. I'll see if the edit is accepted before writing an answer.

Hypothetical questions aren't a problem as far as I know. Asking 'if I use this technique/ingredient over that what would the result be' is hypothetical and we get a lot of them
Yeah, that jack and sue business was a complete waste of space, and didn't add anything @LSchoon. It's actually a decent question post your edit, I hope we get decent answers.

The help center advises against hypothetical questions, @GdD.

@LSchoon just to chime in - the core of the question is quite interesting, your edit removed the “fluff” and chiseled away the unnecessary details.
@LSchoon yes, but “hypothetical” is also to avoid questions like “If I tried to make chocolate mousse in the ISS...”

I figured it would be, but wanted to check in anyway. Thank you for the input!

The problem is pretty “real” - as proven by your edit. Well done!

As I was raised a New Yorker @LSchoon I consider cold pizza a staple food.

I have fond memories of cold morning-after fast food of most categories. Oh, those student days...

Cold chinese noodles

Gazpacho

@LSchoon We had kind of hoped for this special treat when ordering from the local pizza place the other week (working from home, absolutely no time for cooking due to crashing work schedules). Hadn’t taken into account the teen boy in the house.

@GdD Cold Pizza, Cut with a pair of scissors? :D

That's a lesson learned then, @Stephie ;) I have to confess to ordering two pizzas just so I'd have leftovers the next day on several occasions.

@JourneymanGeek but doesn’t yours come pre-cut? Just roll or fold the slices...

@Stephie uhh. Its a reference to a movie :D
and uh,,, we don't by pizza out usually, strict veggie, and most of the places we can eat have strange definitions of pizza

@JourneymanGeek amazon.de/…
Although that’s taking it a bit too far, imho.

11:51 AM
Its even stranger than I remember

Ripped apart with bare hands @JourneymanGeek!
Ah, I didn't get the movie reference either. Crime's the disease, pizza's the cure!
