@Laurel they do help! Especially the first one, bit entirely unrelated reasons

I mean things like, speaking as much more a discovery writer, if I discover something about a character (mother's name, a language they speak, favourite porridge topping etc) I want somewhere to store it

That reminds me, I should spend some time on my story. spends all the time answering on SE instead

@Laurel amen to that.. at the moment I'm sort of clinging to the hope that I'll get some time to write over Christmas, I've got a bit of time off work which is the main blocker at the moment
