@NikeDattani I can resonate with the point you brought regarding appearances created by half-completed exchanges. As a variant of previous instructions, I suggest you do this: before disengaging, under the problematic comment add one along the lines of this:
> @userNameWhatever572asd I pecieve your comment as intending to [ distract / offend / improperly attack me (or the point I made) / whatever ]. For this reason I choose not to further interact with it.
And then, after this, you disengage as advised earlier.
This will leave a level scenario behind, allowing everyone to assess for themselves who's account of the issue is more accurate.
