@skippy619 yeah it's a shame that, 55k words is a little light for a literary novel but if that was as long as it needed to be then that should be what matters, unfortunately agents have so much stuff coming their way that they need some criteria I guess, even if they may feel pretty arbitrary to us mere mortals :(
