I feel this image also applies to everyone here as well. Posted in RD chat.

@IvenBach Depends on who's the junior

Me?
I still ~~~feel like~~~ I don’t know anything.

I'm more like medior by now and also got some more junior people under me lol, but also senior above me

What’s strikethrough for SE?

this?

Triple dash?

Ugh. iPhone was converting -- into –. Had to turn that off. Nasty default to have enabled.
Anything new? I've not been around much.

Not much new for me
Same old work, stuff seems to be getting easier over time
Something something getting older and more experienced

6:40 PM
@IvenBach I went on a boat yesterday
With work. To test our things
Today I bumped into a fence and scratched my arm

@SimonForsberg o.o
You making sonar or something?

@skiwi Not me personally, but we do have a team working with Sonar apps, yes.

Sonar (sound navigation and ranging) is a technique that uses sound propagation (usually underwater, as in submarine navigation) to navigate, measure distances (ranging), communicate with or detect objects on or under the surface of the water, such as other vessels. Two types of technology share the name "sonar": passive sonar is essentially listening for the sound made by vessels; active sonar is emitting pulses of sounds and listening for echoes. Sonar may be used as a means of acoustic location and of measurement of the echo characteristics of "targets" in the water. Acoustic location in air...
This one right

Ooh okay

Sonar is annoyingly complex, because wave propagation in heterogeneous media is an incredibly complex problem

[Zomis/Games] Zomis pushed commit c6f5fc5f to big-refactor: Change database listeners to use FlowStep
[Zomis/Games] Zomis deleted branch compose

basically everything you can think of affects wave propagation in water, which means that you get weird echoes and changing propagation angles as soundwaves travel

[Zomis/Games] Zomis deleted branch feature/alchemists

@Vogel612 I think someone else is building the underlying Sonar system and we're just getting data from it and showing it in the app
But there are for sure people in the company who know a lot of stuff
