are you going to freeze them then, or is your family hungry enough to go through them?

Haven’t decided yet. Maybe clean, chop and cook, then chill and decide later. Not part of dinner tonight, we had mixed mushrooms yesterday and family is a bit picky about being served the same food twice in a row.

Change of plans: We did have mushrooms for dinner. Instead of the usual gravy with pickled mushrooms that goes with chicken and rice (cooked in one pan), I sautéed fresh mushrooms and onion, added a splash of vinegar and a bit of agave sugar and let that boil down to coat the mushrooms, then added gravy. So similar to yesterday, yet different enough to be well accepted.
