@Jin, How are things going on the graduation process right now? Any interesting updates or are we just waiting to hear back on the Robotics part of the name.
@tyblu, I think a good way to start this bounty add from here on out is to notify the user that we are going to add rep to their question to get it some extra attention. That way if they have any confusion they understand the reason.

@NickT y'know, that's really cool, but I don't think it's real. I've done this XY crap with an analog, and to get those shapes it takes some f'ed up tunes.
@NickT I did not think triangle waves in audio were common, I have been wrong, I have done audio work, but once I verify function I move on, I never play with the audio at all.
@NickT, Yeah, I understand that, just did not think of it as I would never feed that into audio. They were fun audio clips, but they could have that stuff on them.

@NickT, the reason I got confused by the flag on my message was that when you flag in a chatroom every mod on every site gets the flag in chat. Every mod online has to try to figure out what it is for. I was trying to determine if there was an actual issue so that I could resolve it.
@NickT, I thought it was joking around, but I had to be sure.
@NickT, because he wants the site design to look visually appealing and the name changing makes a difference. Release also gets us our own personalized web address. We do not want our address to be electronicsandrobotics.com and the site to be electronics and engineering.

I remember a post by Jeff or someone about how that is hardly the case with all of them, and that the "name" is not something that will not necessarily (and it so rarely is) at release
It might just work on its own. It's set to output via regular chat message and not a 'ticker' at the top, since there's only a dozen or so new questions per day.

just moving :L as theres no message passing in picaxe basic its had to be implemented so i could use the same subroutines and it know what its last instruction was

yeah were expensive but worth the money as they are easy to interface with the PICs ADC :) just plug the output straight in to the ADC :) compared to just using a infrared LED and Phototransistor and a op-amp to make the change enough to get easier readings for the ADC to read

naa i said thats just going to be a 7805 to regulate the 5v for the pic which input will be ~14.4V from the 12 AAA batteries required for the stepper motors
although i don't think it will work on battery power because the stepper motors are rated at 11.4V and theres no current limiting and when i overvolted them last time i blew the ULN2803a
but i got my school to pay for me to go to the competition :D and it will look amazing in my report to say here it is in a competition but it lost as DC motors with encoders are the way forward ;) but expensive to implement ;)
