Hi everyone, I'm a junior EE student and have taken up a course on Computer Architecture and Organization.
My professor expects us to come up with a novel project that either supplements a RISC-V processor or does something radically different while supporting some variant of the RISC-V ISA.
I'm just looking for areas that have decently low hanging fruit while still being novel enough that it could result in a paper eventually.
Any help is appreciated

@adamaero Oh lord, well I would've contacted the landlord and asked them if they could print out copied of all of it to show. Man that sucks. Maybe the owner should put in some solar, if applicable. Unless it is Germany or Scotland then scratch that idea.

Hello.
I attempted to download Rigol MSO5000 firmware from rigolna.com/firmware. There is a link for that model's firmware v 01.03.00.01, which is beyondmeasure.rigoltech.com/acton/ct/1579/p-00ac/Bct/-/-/ct19_0/… However, the file it downloads is named MSO5_FW_V1_1_4_4.zip Yet, the release notes contained inside mention v00.01.03.00.01 Is this a known file name issue?

Not sure @ThomasWeller, did you try contacting them about it? A year or two ago I asked them for an updated firmware version and they were prompt and helpful.

I didn't contact them yet, but I can do. Thanks.

It's probably just a typographical error on their part. But I agree, it's a little unsettling when the typo is in regards to firmware.
