@ThePhoton Sorry I had to do other stuff. To respond to your last message. Yes that's true, but when the physicist and me get into that mind set when making things we know exactly what each other are saying. But to others that aren't in that exact mind set it makes no sense. Kind of like some TV shows or movies where the geek or nerd starts talking and no one knows what the geek or nerd is saying.
@ThePhoton Kind of like that. If I was around another physicist and he or she was in that mind set and I wasn't, it would take me a while, but I would figure it out later.
I guess I could say that it finally dawned on me once I figured it out.
Who was it that gave a link to a website giving away free a quantum mechanics book? I think it was you @W5VO But I'm not sure.
@JRE Do you know where I could get a 15 mm diameter 2.5 or 3 foot long drill bit at? I'm putting some rebar in some railroad ties and need that size of drill bit.
@rdtsc From a pedagogy perspective, I don't like hiding what's happening behind the scenes. It largely hides what you're using and I'd be worried that you wouldn't be able to confidently use the actual pieces of equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, power supply)
@NickAlexeev - WRT this question you migrated: electronics.stackexchange.com/posts/463158/revisions ... I closed it because the OP had double booked it on both of our sites. No worries, though, it should have fit on our site.
@ScientistSmithYT - 15mm in that length is a pretty serious bit ... you better have a large, torquy drill to handle it. More than likely you can find what you need at McMaster-Carr.
what is the recommend approach when posting a question with a Karnuagh map. I am using the LaTex package to draw the map, but it does not work when I post it to EE stack exchange
