Q: Is it possible to make an IGBT to work at duty cycles up to 100%?

yogeceI am designing an IGBT based chopper with single Low side switching IGBT (chosen low side switching because ease of driving the IGBT.) how do you decide wire material and cross-section required for wire to transmit 3A of current?

@yogece What would keep you from using an IGBT at 100% duty cycle?
@deostroll Just use copper, and ampacity charts from the NEC
If the resistance is too high after satisfying the safety aspect, use bigger wire
