@CIFilter get a ratcheting crimper -- Sargent and Paladin/Greenlee both make reasonably priced frames with interchangeable dies

@ThePhoton either someone whom doesn't know their software, or a disgruntled person with a bone to pick with management

aagh -- assembling a PC, and the power on switch on the chassis has an open circuit value of about 85K, which isn't enough!! Mobo wouldn't post. Accidentally landed on this after some hours, before going through useless phone calls and RMA's for the Mobo!

53 is an odd enough angle that it doesn't seem like a degree/radian issue, though it's close
And it's not for something like a matrix array of LEDs or something like that either

Why would someone in hobby electronics want a software-tunable oscillator, RF even?
Maybe I'm mistaking the idea of variability for tunability. If so, why tweak an RF carrier signal...how would one know which way to tune it...
(A year ago, I took an undergraduate course that involved oscillators. And now I came upon this question: electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/448494/…)
Just curious.

@AdamUraynar Pretty sure they're using a DAC to synthesize the frequencies.

What kind of application? Transmitting a signal is all I can think of, but then why tune it?

He's making something that looks like a function generator

Ow, lamee

...how is there not more than 5 people in the world here?!
7.7 billion people, 17 million STEM careers...

@ScottSeidman My Mobo's power on circuit has been damaged (maybe by ESD?) at any rate, my PC turns on randomly, sometimes when I switch on a fan elsewhere in the house.
If your ever troubleshooting PC mobo's a screwdriver is pretty handy to turn it on and off in the absence of a switch

@AdamUraynar I actually went to a certified STEM school. I mainly focused and studied science, and engineering. Math came after then tech. That school gave me every thing I really needed to do my research and tests.

Nothing like working on somebody else's design to remind you that even the smartest people you work with are COMPLETE FUCKING IDIOTS
Why uncheck "lock primitives" for half the freaking parts in the design?!?

Primitives need love too! Awww poor little guys, all there and locked up and stuff. Be free!
