Pro tip: If you're a government official... don't make jokes from your official Twitter account. Somebody WILL treat your jokes as an official stance and try to start a media uproar.
Somebody sent me a link to that article and after I told them that the tweets weren't serious, they were like "What about the tweets is obviously humor?" Not everybody gets jokes apparently...
Like, if you interpret things like "I’m also starting suspect that your account may be a burner account for a robot dog that has gone sentient" as anything other than a joke, I don't think I can help you...
