A: Why it is difficult to write an application to protect 100% against keyloggers?

Vipul Nair Why it is difficult to write an application to protect 100% against keyloggers? Well same reasons that an application written to find and protect against 100% malware fails. Ever played a Video game? How does it work? When you press the forward key it accelerates. Now a simple keylogger could...

was i wrong here?

@VipulNair I'm not the downvoter, but it is possible to protect against software keyloggers.
It depends on how the keyboard input is handled by the operating system.

i dont care about the downvote.I just wanna know thats all
could you explain further?
Or have something i could read?

Maybe look into how Wayland handles keyloggers (for Linux) or how UIPI on Windows handles it for UAC prompts. It all depends on how the OS sends input to different applications.

Thank u

Of course, nothing can protect from a hardware keylogger or a kernel keylogger.

@VipulNair Those are pretty old, although it's true that Wayland by default is just a framework that makes resisting keyloggers possible, but on its own can't do much.

Lemme search more then.
