@Susan or @Caleb: I was just curious, I noticed Susan posted a comment to the answerer before deleting this answer, but then wondered with the person being new (just 1 reputation), can he see his own answer that has been deleted (and the comment associated to it)? That is, can a low rep person see any question or answer of their own that has been deleted?

@ScottS Yes, they can always see their own deleted posts. The tricky thing is finding them because they won't necessarily show in their profile. However the inbox notification that the comment generates will still end up in their inbox and they can follow the link from that.

The only case where they get "lost" is when unregistered users come back looking for their post but don't login so they don't get the inbox notification (or see deleted posts) and they wonder what happened.

@Caleb But they will show if they go back to the question itself and scroll down to their answer, correct? It just removes the link from their individual profile (if I understand you correctly).

@JackDouglas Not much in my "brains" to pick, Jack. But my impression is that the Gnostic texts, which I associate with the Nag Hammadi codices, is a specialist preserve.

@JackDouglas But it's not something I've much looked into. If there's something in particular you're wondering about, I could see what resources I might come up with for you - no guarantees, though! ;)
