@Dɑvïd I do, although by beef with the font choices is somewhat tempered by my appreciation for the somewhat unusual but obviously carefully done page layout.
Incidentally every time I see Brill I like it more, but also never fail to notice how much smaller it's x-height is than any of its neighbors.

@Caleb Yes, true -- and one of the things (to my mind) that makes the pedestrian font choice all the more odd!
@Caleb Ha - had occasion to share a paper (for which the Brill font had been used) with a professional linguist who, as it happens, has a book in prep to be published with Brill. He said of the paper: "I just don't like that font!" "There's a wee shame," says I. "That's what your book will be set in!" (LOL!)
 
I remember reading some discussion or explanation of why Brill's x-height is so small but I can't remember the gist of it or even where I was reading.
