@NickAlexeev I only ever recruited 2 guys that were younger than me, some 10 years back. One stuck around for 4-5 years at least then switched to another EE job. The other jumped ship after a year and became project manager instead of actively working with development himself.
But when visiting fairs (which is getting rarer these days), it's all greybeards left and right. Most of the talented EE I know are either close to retirement or have already retired.
Might be some local thing here in Stockholm though. The biggest employer Ericsson has been in steady decline for several decades now.
