Would you try to convince a senior co-worker to allow the use of 45 degree PCB trace turns instead of 90 degree? (They really like 90 degree trace turns.)

@adamaero Maybe, if it was on something I was designing, and there were places where I couldn't make the routing fit because I couldn't escape a part properly or I couldn't snake a bunch of routes. If it's on their stuff and it's working just fine, then just do your best to not be triggered by the layouts.

Well that's pretty standard. Autorouters are notoriously bad.

Usually I plan for a major revision on a PCB after a design review. I plan on almost starting from scratch a second time, as it usually takes once or twice to see which corners you painted yourself into the first time.
