Texas Instruments' have moved their support function to Manila.
And it has become so dysfunctional that I'm stopping to use TI parts of any complexity.

No more TI switch-mode converters. Analog with Linear Technology has excellent switchers plus LTspice, and LTswitcherCAD. Plus it's all supported by actual engineers. I can read an Analog Devices app note, then e-mail to the app note author, and get a competent response.
Yes, I pay for that support, because the Analog Devices chips a slightly more expensive. My applications can carry that.
