If you're starting from scratch and doing everything yourself, then all these steps can blend together.

I am interested in shadow art(projecting light trough an object to create a shadow image). I need a point like light source for this. I am thinking a led from a smart phone. Can a led like that stay lit for hours/days? What do I need to search for on e.g. eBay to find these leds?
