@Vikas when doing street photography... absolutely. I hate being watched. Once I rented a 800mm lens from a mail-order rental shop, got it delivered to work (signature required), and immediately took a break to quick test the lens on a tripod along the road. I got a lot of looks from people, some pulled into the parking lot and asked if I was capturing their license plates, etc. That wasn't very fun either. lol

@scottbb Oh so I'm not alone. I don't visit here and there for photography as I'm not a photographer. I just want to take photos in my street and nearby but it's absolute pain when people are watching me. So many times I have to cancel my plans when they are watching. For example I want to take photo of moon and I can't take it because i'll have to set up tripod and then everyone will look towards me what he's doing

@Vikas That kind of work, I don't mind if people watch me. I usually get self-conscious when I'm shooting things where people are in the scene, because I've had some cases where people demanded I stop taking their picture in public. That's what I don't like. But taking pictures of the moon, or landscapes, etc., people are usually curious, and I don't generally mind that. Sometimes it's annoying if it slows your process down, but usually they just assume you're a pro, which can be fun. =)
