- convert to BW using any method you'd like (desaturation is the easiest);
- switch the mode from RGB to CMYK (`Image->Mode`), use any suggested profile;
- use channel mixer with this preset: https://filebin.net/jo7c43b6npagjo7c
- disable colour management in your printer settings completely
- print.

@user3450548 The tonality of the image will depend on the profile which you used upon switching to CMYK. If you have issue with tonality, experiment with them.

I cannot be 100% sure that orinter will use C only, it's just a workaround which I expect to work.

Ok then. Try another thing: let the image be in RGB, but use channel mixer and set red channel: 0,0,0, green channel: 33,33,33, blue channel: 33,33,33.
Then print it, again, with no colour management.

I mean.. i added a white layer on top of it to decrease a bit the density

@EuriPinhollow but i'm not sure of the condition, i mean i tried removing the cymk profile aswell i also reprinted another one and by leaving all the color management off it renders full cyan ? why
i don't get how this is possible

Also, try another version of CMYK mixer: {0, 0, 0, 100; 0, 0, 0, 0; 0, 0, 0, 0}. I messed it, I left the 100 in black channel.

i think is the same once the color is flatterned
if u take a full black and put over it a new layer with cyan in screen mode the inked layer below becomes all cyan

the fully working procedure is rgb with #00FFFF
then print in full color management off
trying to print magenta and yellow only

if u take full color management off and you go for #00FFFF #FF00FF and #FFFF00 them are converted with cmy :D
in order to modulate the density you have to use white obviously
@EuriPinhollow it would be fun to check how this can work with some other printer i managed in past like the pro9000 and pro9500 with 8, 10 and 12 inks

@user3450548 this would be unpredictable. Canon may pick any inks which they like. They will probably pick saturated ink for saturated regions and light ink for unsaturated regions.
You'd probably could not manage it deterministically.
