@Cyril that is something. When I dig into how Windows works I always find some stupid explanation for why the state of things. What is really wild is the documentation for Remove-Item which states "The Recurse parameter might not delete all subfolders or all child items. This is a known issue."
How is it possible that my "KILLDIR" command from 1992 is more reliable than modern PowerShell commands?
