It just appeared to me that the change to the change to the command bar could be problematic in more ways than just the cancellation token handling.
What happens in the methods setting the captions must not happen after the shot down has been initiated. Accordingly, to be able to guarantee this, we either have to introduce some synchronization or never access the methods on anything but the VBE's main thread.
