Those features are not ideal and specifically shared workbooks with change tracking is not reliable, like git.
They replaced Shared Workbooks with something called "Co-authoring" which is a shitty version of the shared workbook that requires O365 and has way less features.
We tried co-authoring for about 10 minutes and then my users complained that when one user changed a filter or sort that it changed on screen for everyone. So if each person is trying to sort and filter looking for a specific line in a large document you get absolute choas, fist fights. We had to go back to the old shared workbooks which get corrupted once a month and must be restored...
