@MathieuGuindon soooo.... I finally got time to start on your suggestion.... but weirdly I am not seeing the object declared within the class and its available methods. So, if I create a class and add Private WithEvents CN As ADODB.Connection I was expecting to see CN listed in left dropdown, where I could then select it and the associated methods would be listed in right dropdown in VBE code pane. However, there is no listing of CN at all.
The various WithEvents examples I have looked up also all seem to expect that the declaration of the object within the class is enough for it to be listed in the right dropdown. Have I missed something?
The example does not list a class init to instantiate the object.
hummmm?

Just a little fun fact about my question about implicit conversion: when assigning Bool variable to String variable, it seems that another algoritm is used than implemented in VBA.Cstr and can result in regional name (from Windows Regional Settings?). For example False bool value can eval into strings "Falsch" (german) or "Fałsz"(polish) ect instead of just "False".
It's quite strange that on the same Windows+Office settings the same implicit conversion can result in two differents strings. One more reason that implicit conversion is evil. Regards!
