Q: Help me find my buddy!

J MarzaI'm trying to get ahold of my old pal Felix. The last I knew he was travelling the US, so I wandered around - but it's a very big place! I did bump into his son in Milwaukee. He told me that Felix left for a bird watching holiday, but unfortunately never told his son where! Felix did leave this n...

Q: In honor of Olof Palme’s birthday, January 30

@Avi In mathematics (more specifically in the variety of "abstract nonsense" known as category theory), a co-X is like an X but "with arrows reversed": if X involves functions from A to B, co-X involves functions from B to A, etc. So a co-bee would do all the same things as a bee, but backwards.
Paul Erdős joked that a mathematician is a device for turning coffee into theorems. So, say the category theorists, there should also exist comathematicians, who turn theorems into ffee.
(And if you're thinking that they've spelt that last word wrong, I think that's part of the joke.)

heheh
by the same principle there should exist copresidents who turn vfefe into intelligible words

@GarethMcCaughan coconuts 🤔🤔
watch out folks, drinking juice from co-co-nuts might induce co-nfusion
co-co-nuts: juice -> co-nfusion
co-nuts: nfusion -> juice
not sure if that's how it works tbh
I'm sure you can make a great puzzle out of this if you think hard enough; unfortunately, I happen to be too busy nowadays to do so :(

@oAlt I don't know whether it comes from (could be it was first) but, yeah, it's related. Also cosine.
