@OmegaKrypton I've no idea how "Elementary" or "boy" means "H2". Also, numerals are not usually used in crosswords (though there are exceptions).

@OmegaKrypton I don't think "elementary" can mean "He" in a cryptic. In a regular crossword, "Elementary boy?" can mean "He", I think, as a punny clue.

@OmegaKrypton There are other oddities of English, too, but those are in the professor's speech fragments so I assume are on purpose for the puzzle purposes. I'll mention them here anyway just in case they were accidental: "And no one or animals can survive without eggs" should be "And no person or animal can survive without eggs". "cracking eggshells and doughnuts can make our bones stronger" should probably be "cracked eggshells and doughnuts can make our bones stronger".
