My friend came out this puzzle and asked me to solve it. 24,14,41,29,?,33,28 I have tried basic operations but there is still no explicit link between them. Anyone got any ideas about this sequence？

@GarethMcCaughan out of curiosity, how is the "gh" in your name pronounced?

The "ug" in my surname is silent.

M'Ca-h'n is fairly close to how I pronounce it.

In the glens of Antrim where it comes from, though, the "gh" would be a guttural sound a bit like the "ch" in "loch".
