C4 hint: The answer is a noun.

I feel like this is MONTAGE (shuffle, MW sense 1) with MONTE being the card game but I can't see how "a scrap" clues "AG" or "scrap" clues "G"
Maybe this kind of scrap, since silver can be a kind of scrap and silver is Ag? I'm not sure

@oAlt That's not the intended answer.

Ah, that's a relief actually

11:50 AM
Wait, I feel like this is FARRAGO (shuffle) again, with the card game being FARO (which is also a gambling game), and that leaves RAG = scrap but I can't justify it well, other than the fact that a scrap is a fragment, and a rag is a fragment of old cloth?

@oAlt yep! A scrap is typically a fragment of something old or left over, so a rag is a good example, I think.

Hah, didn't expect the answer to be the same as a previous but recent one lol
(and yeah, that explanation makes sense)

Q: A MYSTERIOUS CIPHER ON REDDIT

Wade969First of all I must specify that the cipher is not mine, I found it in a post on reddit by a user named master with a few numbers after it. I'll give you guys some context. I have always been into cryptography and to learn I started following some people on reddit (I know I sound like a stalker)....

Q: Why can't a 1 go in this field

webnoobI've moved onto "expert" sudoku's in my app and whilst I am getting by solving some, others I'm having a hard time with. With this one, I used a hint so the AI could note all the fields up for me but it hasn't put a note for 1 in this box. Why? I can't see anything which would rule it out for "ce...

Q: Smallest square that can pack thin digits

MaffIf we draw the digits 0 to 9 using a rectangle 2x5 (except the 1) they use up 81 squares. Is it possible to pack them all into a 9x9 grid. What is the smallest n by n grid that can pack them all?

2:32 PM
By hand lol
I tinkered with the letters in notepad and I saw after a few minutes that I could form "dinosaur" without the d and I tried pursuing that path lol
well I mean it's not that impressive since others have done better

Q: What is up with these two groups of flags?

Sam KauffmanHere are two groups of flags. In your opinion, which flags look better, those in group A or in group B? I'm curious. Please answer this poll by upvoting the corresponding comment. To solve the puzzle: What is the distinction between the two groups?
