I was making a translator that translates big numbers to small numbers. You have to figure out just the formula. \$182192 = 2\$ \$1872928 = 1\$ \$28919271 = 0\$ \$40084 = 3\$ \$192891825959 = 1\$ \$87878931 = 0\$

My attempted pub quiz/Only Connect wall question never got very close to a true answer, so here's another try. The ultimate wall was solved in less than an hour over in the Only Connect facebook group...maybe this will be a little easier. What flower found in the southern United States shares i...

This is my first attempt at a Connect Wall. Your task is to find the connections between the following 16 words to form 8 groups of 4. No, I did not Muck up the Fath – there is one connection per row and one connection per column 😊 Fun fact: I’ve recently been car-pooling with a work colleague a...

considering the use of "inspired" in the recent clue i think "(completely) uninspired?" could maybe clue removal of something from the inside of a word
"accidental surface" could be AL (outermost parts of "accidental") or A (topmost part of "accidental", if in a down clue)
so i think it's a word for "still" (either a word like "yet" or maybe a technical term for a still in distilling) minus A or AL making a word for "puzzle" (either a type of puzzle or maybe a word like "confuse")
i could see "completely uninspired" also cluing removal of all inside letters but if that's the case i have no idea how the rest would work

an ALEMBIC is a still and contains AL but (1) it doesn't contain AL internally which I think it'd need to and (2) it leaves EMBIC which (2a) is five letters and (2b) doesn't mean a puzzle so far as I know either as it is or after removing any other letter to get 4 letters.

RUNE and HUNT are both arguably puzzles, and both are something with UN inspired, but I don't see how the rest of the wordplay would work, at all.

Since I botched my first attempt at posing this puzzle, let me try again, this time hopefully closing all loopholes: The figure is E-W symmetric, all circles have the same diameter d, the centres of the red circles form a regular 18-gon with side length d and the centres of the circles numbered ...

Is the archive still being updated? It looks like the last one was from 2020/3/3

there's another version of the archive that's slightly more up-to-date, but it's still pretty far away from being caught up
