fun fact: the main difference between working as a barrister and working as a barista is the stress

i have three theories about the c4 but none of them seem to produce anything useful
could be an anagram of "inspired art" but that would make "message is medium?" the def which doesn't seem promising
could be an anagram of "is medium" with either "art" or a 3-letter word for art inside it
or it could be an 8-letter word for "message" plus -ISM making a term for "poor, inspired art"

IsaacRoan SisonWhat is the 6-letter word that associates with this rebus? Helpness Meter 1: Helpness Meter 2:

Rewording the CCCC more fairly, which will thus serve as a hint: Message is medium with poor inspired art form (11)
@Jafe only works in a non-rhotic accent. Which I guess people who say "barrister" have — but I was confused for a second.
But it's a good line.

Q: Raven Matrices question

Véronique[![enter image description here][1]][1] Found this puzzle on Quora from Christian Baune and here is the link https://qr.ae/pGXQPa [1]: https://i.sstatic.net/KY8s8.jpg

11:12
ah, that's true
11:26
and i suppose even many people with non-rhotic accents would pronounce the r in "barrister and"
11:47
I could imagine "message is medium" being a def for MCLUHANISM but (1) that's 10 letters not 11 and (2) it isn't an anagram of INSPIRED ART. [EDITED to fix a typo]
I suspect that in actual speech quite a lot of people with non-rhotic accents will also put an "r" in "barista and".
that's interesting
feels like that would lead to a lot of misunderstandings since many word pairs only differ by the final r but i guess it doesn't
at least, not any more than not pronouncing the final r in the first place

Q: What is a Fun Puzzle?

AmozWhat is a Fun Puzzle? I was curious to learn what makes a puzzle Fun so that I could devote my time to only working on Fun Puzzles. With that goal in mind, I set out to make a list of Fun and Not Fun puzzles. I knew this would be a contentious topic with many opinions, so I took an informal poll ...

@Deusovi "Cute clues" :P

if Message is the def, I can see INFORMATION being a possible answer(also one of the very few 11-letter synonyms, that I could think of). I am struggling to make it work though. I can see there's M inside(ART)* but don't see how "poor inspired" can give us the remaining letters.
